Coffee hater to coffee lover
Growing up I HATED coffee, especially as a kid. My parent always drank instant coffee and whenever we went to a chain cafe I usually got a milk or a smoothie. Staying as far away from coffee as I could.
Eventually I started university and that is when late nights started. Some for study and some for going out. Which unfortunately meant I started to require caffeine stay away during lectures.
After university I was fortunate enough to get an office job, which didn’t align with my ‘wake up 10 minutes before lecture’ routine. Now having to manage my budget a bit more tightly because I was paying for more stuff. I turned to drinking the free coffee the company provided. Eventually starting to like the coffee.
As I started to enjoy coffee I started to visit more cafe’s. By visiting more cafe’s I started to explore the wide range of flavours and quality of coffee that was available to me. From that I started to explore more and more what coffee was available to me to make at home and at work. From that I was hooked! Hooked on the world of coffee and everything it had to offer.
This blog is a platform for me to voice my opinions, learn and explore the wide world of coffee.
