The scenery and diverse variety of food and drink options, makes sure that there is something for everyone. As well as their friendly staff and amazing coffee makes it an ideal spot for families to meet.

Why we visited:
Cafe looks good on social media, looking for a quiet atmosphere for a morning breakfast.

Initial Impressions:
Cosy, warming but open atmosphere, with very friendly staff. Big selection of savoury and sweet food available.

Menu Impressions:
A very diverse and inclusive food menu, where they provide separate veggie and vegan options, rather than grouping them together, with is great to see! You can expect all the coffee options you would desire, along with a diverse hot chocolate and tea menu as well.

Timing & Busy-ness:

Arrived around 10am on a Saturday. The cafe was really, quiet with plenty of seating options inside, outside and within the pergola.

Overall Review:

Coming to this cafe is an experience like no other. Even though this isn’t the first time I have visited this cafe, it is the first time I have taken the time to appreciate the scenery. The exposed brick walls with the homogeneous integration of the nature right outside; gave the cafe a farmhouse feel. Even though there is seating inside the cafe’s building, we much preferred going into the pergola. As it gives you a beautiful view of the canal. What sold us more to seat in the pergola was the fact the it has a good amount of heater and every seat came with a blanket as well! Where even of a grey day that we visited, we still felt warm and cosy. We can only imagine how nice the view can get when the sun is actually out.

Now the coffee was so light and smooth, considering I asked for the diary milk. Considering the coffee with so light, it allowed you to fully enjoy the coffee flavour with every sip. The coffee flavour was very rich, enjoyable and left a very slight sour taste in your mouth. There isn’t much more to say as the flat white I had was such a well rounded and enjoyable experience there isn’t much more to say. We also ordered an oat latte with vanilla syrup. Even though the syrup sweetened the coffee so that you didn’t have the sour after taste that I want out of a coffee. The syrup wasn’t overpowering, letting you still enjoy the light roast of the coffee.

Final Thoughts:
This cafe is perfect for any time of day and any time of year. Making you feel at home with either heaters and blankets, making sure you feels cosy and at home. Their large variety of diverse food options makes your mouth water, no matter your dietary requirements.
